2010/9/15
DisplayLink and Toshiba Australia have today announced the release of Toshiba’s dynadock™ V to the Australian market. Retailers in Australia will now be able to offer customers the benefits of DisplayLink’s simple USB virtual graphics connectivity in Toshiba’s dynadock universal docking station family. The compact dynadock V is the sleekest way to tap into networks, improve productivity and enjoy mega-sized high-def entertainment — with one simple cable.

“Toshiba is a world leader in mobile computing technology, and this alliance will give DisplayLink an entry into the important Australian market,” says Dennis Crespo, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for DisplayLink. “We look forward to working with Toshiba to offer Australian customers a quick and easy way to enjoy a desktop-like experience from the notebook, easily connecting multiple monitors and organising all USB peripherals.”

Using DisplayLink’s unique silicon and software solution, users can plug the Toshiba dynadock V – USB Mini Port Replicator into any PC or notebook with a single USB cable. Once connected, they have immediate access to peripherals such as an extra monitor, keyboards, mice, digital cameras, and even Ethernet.

“The dynadock V universal docking station has a full set of features in a compact, affordable package,” said Phil Daidone, Product Manager Notebook Accessories & Storage Devices, Toshiba. “It is the ideal computing companion for consumers and business travelers alike who wish to get the best productivity from their notebook investment.”

The dynadock V is available now with DisplayLink technology at leading Australian retail locations.
