2016.8.23 A company is operated by a Taiwanese in China is suspected of using Seih-Ying's numbers of old patents of existing products in Taiwan to apply for new patents for the Utility Model and Design Patents in China

Refer to the related patents, we clarify as below:
1. Utility Model Patent:
CN203049477U Solar-powered light-emitting warning road sign
CN203049484U Novel solar-powered light-emitting warning road sign
CN203049476U Solar light-emitting caution road sign with novel structure
- The above three patents have some minor modifications on the title, description, and text. The drawing is totally the same. The company used the same and similar product to apply for these three patents so as to increase the number of patents.
- The above three patents are identical in appearance, design and application to Seih-Ying's existing “A666 Solar Warning Light” which has been produced since 1998. And the company got these three patents in 2013 that are exactly 15 years later than us.
2. Utility Model Patent:
CN203049485U light-reflecting road stud with novel structure
CN203049483U Novel cat-eye spike
CN203049482U Dog spike
- The above three patents are identical to the aforementioned patents in Solar-powered warning road sign that only have some minor modifications on the title, description, and text. The drawing is totally the same.
- The above three patents are identical in appearance, design and application to Seih-Ying's existing “360 Degree Tempered Glass Road Stud” which has been produced since 1990, and sold worldwide. The company got these three patents as well in 2013 that are exactly 23 years later than us.
- Wherein “light-reflecting road stud with novel structure” the description and text of this patent are specified the product size “the diameter of the smaller end face of the lower half part is 80 centimeters; the diameter of the upper end face is 101 centimeters, and the thickness is 26 centimeters; and the diameter of the upper half part is 60 centimeters, and the height is 24 centimeters.” We don't know that how to use on the road for such a great product!
3. Design Patent:
CN302931733S Opal (Solar energy type)
CN302931734S Opal (Flat top net shape)
- Opal (Solar energy type)：This patent is almost identical in appearance and function to Seih-Ying's “A666 Solar Warning Light”.
- Opal (Flat top net shape)：This patent is almost identical in appearance and function to Seih-Ying's “Slip-proof type 360 Degree Tempered Glass Road Stud”.
Currently, the Utility Model and Design Patents in China are counterfeited seriously. The unscrupulous manufacturers often make a miner modification to apply for new patents for many excellent products resulting in original patentees having serious persecution. In this incident, we surmise that its purpose is probably to cheat the China leadership with a large number of patents to obtain tax benefits or bank financing.
Hereby we make a particular statement that there was a few years ago a Shanghai company using Seih-Ying's old patents to make an application for the Utility Model and Design Patents that had been revoked by Seih-Ying as a precedent.
For this incident, we have been starting to gather evidences. Do not break the law.
