Pulverized Coal Furnace is another name of pulverized coal boiler, pulverized fuel boiler, powdered coal boiler, coal powder boiler. First set 440 tons per hour pulverized coal furnace steam drum was successfully delivered on October 22. The steam drum size is DN1600x65x14650mm, weight is 51.5 tons and material is 13MnNiMo54. The material is special, technological structure is complex, fabrication difficulty is high, process and testing items are numerous, and manufacturing cycle is long.
In the production process, group leaders attached great importance to it. Group Chairman visited the workshop for on-site guidance many times under the sweltering heat. All departments are actively acting and cooperating closely. Before the pulverized coal furnace drum is put into production, relevant technical backbones held research and deployment meetings. Make technical clarifications to manufacturing workshop, and explain production process, difficulty and solution. The production system sets up a special project team, feedbacking and solving key issues in a timely manner. The main fabrication workshop tracks and assesses the quality and time node of each process. The manual welding team overcomes the high temperature welding in hot weather.

In the end, through the overall arrangement and joint efforts of the whole employees, the technical difficulties were overcome, and the pulverized coal furnace was delivered on time. The successful delivery has further accumulated valuable experience for boiler parts manufacturing.
