Founded in 1997, Liban Lait is today the leading producer of milk and dairy products in Lebanon. Having signed franchise agreement with Candia the French Company leading producers of UHT milk in France. Liban Lait s.a.l. started its operations in 1998 with the distribution of imported Candia UHT milk.
After setting up its own farm and manufacturing plant in the Bekaa - Lebanon; Liban Lait s.a.l. commenced, production of a full range of dairy products under Candia and Libanlait brand names. It has since then expanded its product line beyond dairy products to the juice sector (Squeez), in order to capitalize on its plant excess capacity as well as on its existing distribution synergies.
Today, Liban Lait represents the largest investment ever made in Lebanon in the field of farming and dairy processing. The project spreads over an area of 504,000 sqm sq in the heart of the Bekaa valley, at Hosh el Sneid.. It includes a farm, a fully auto mated processing plant and a wide distribution network. It is one of the most modern facilities in its field. The whole operation focuses on quality standards, regularity, and continuity.
