Founded in 1997, Liban Lait is today the leading producer of milk and dairy products in Lebanon. Having signed franchise agreement with Candia the French Company leading producers of UHT milk in France. Liban Lait s.a.l. started its operations in 1998 with the distribution of imported Candia UHT milk. After setting up its own farm and manufacturing plant in the Bekaa - Lebanon; Liban Lait s.a.l. commenced, production of a full range of dairy products under Candia and Libanlait brand names.
