According to historic record, the Chinese greatest educator and the most famous ancient philosopher, Confucius had ever learned from Lao Zi. Confucius had
ever said to his disciples that Lao Zi was like a dragon whose philosophy were so recondite that he could not figure him out completely (the dragon is the
emblem of dignity and capriciousness for the Chinese ancient). The only work of Lao-Zi is Tao De Jing (The Scripture of Way & Virtue). Although there are
only about 5000 sentences within this book, it is one of the most profound canons for Taiwanese & Chinese, One important concept in it is:
When the event (or object) reaches the utmost, it must begin to veer to the opposite.
This will bring us some encouragement during the unstable & turbulent era. We are now sharing the spirit of the great ancient philosopher-- Lao Zi (over 2500
years ago). In the exposition board, there will be the illumination of the author background, the meaning of these texts and the interior spirit which BBIC
hopes they will make our daily life a little better.
